Welcome to Wet Paws Dog Grooming. By accessing or using our website, booking services, or visiting our salon, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

Wet Paws Dog Grooming provides professional pet grooming services for dogs and cats. All services are subject to availability and may vary based on your pet’s breed, size, coat condition, temperament, and behavior.

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue services at any time if we believe a pet’s behavior, health condition, or coat condition poses a risk to the pet, staff, or other animals.

Appointments may be requested through our website, phone, or in person. Submitting an appointment request does not guarantee an appointment until confirmed by Wet Paws.

Late Drop-Off Policy: Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late for their scheduled appointment may have their appointment cancelled at our discretion. Late drop-offs may result in being charged the full cost of the scheduled service to the card on file, as the missed time prevents us from accommodating other clients.

We require at least 24 hours’ notice for appointment cancellations or rescheduling.

Failure to provide proper notice, failure to show up for an appointment, or cancellation due to excessive lateness may result in being charged the full cost of the scheduled service. By providing payment information, you authorize Wet Paws to charge the card on file in accordance with this policy.

Late Pick-Up Policy: Wet Paws is a busy salon with limited space. Pets must be picked up promptly once grooming is completed. Late pick-ups will be charged a $15 fee per dog for every 30 minutes the owner is late. Fees begin accruing immediately after notification that the pet is ready for pick-up.

Prices are based on pet weight, size, coat condition, and service time required. Published prices are starting prices and may increase due to matting, excessive shedding, behavioral challenges, or special handling needs.

Payment is due at the time services are rendered. We accept approved forms of payment as posted in our salon or on our website.

By using our services, you confirm that:

• Your pet is up to date on required vaccinations as mandated by local or state regulations.
• Your pet does not have any contagious illnesses, parasites, or conditions that could pose a risk to others.

Wet Paws is not responsible for complications resulting from pre-existing health conditions, age-related issues, or aggressive behavior. Grooming can be stressful, especially for senior pets or pets with medical conditions, and you acknowledge these inherent risks.

Severely matted coats may require shaving for the safety and comfort of the pet. Additional fees may apply for dematting or extra time required.

Wet Paws is not responsible for skin irritation, redness, nicks, or clipper irritation caused by pre-existing matting or coat conditions.

Unless otherwise requested in writing, you grant Wet Paws permission to use photographs or videos of your pet taken during or after grooming for marketing, social media, and website purposes.

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and graphics, is the property of Wet Paws Dog Grooming and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without prior written consent.

You agree not to misuse the website or attempt to disrupt its operation.

Wet Paws Dog Grooming is not liable for:

• Injury, illness, or death resulting from pre-existing conditions, age, or natural causes.
• Allergic reactions or sensitivities to grooming products when disclosed or undisclosed.
• Loss or damage beyond our reasonable control.

Our liability, if any, is limited to the amount paid for the grooming service provided.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Wet Paws Dog Grooming, its owners, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your pet’s behavior or your breach of these Terms.

Wet Paws reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page and are effective immediately upon posting.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to conflict of law principles.
